The Washington Press Association is an organization of professional communicators. Our membership includes print and online journalists and public relations practitioners as well as students in these fields.

Dues

  • For professional communicators are $20 per year.
  • Dues for students are $10 per year.

Annual communications contest

All members in good standing of WPA (professionals and students) are eligible to enter our annual communications contest. Work published during 2012 is eligible for the 2012 Communications Contest.

Members only Job line

All members in good standing of WPA (professionals and students) are eligible to participate in the members-only job line.  The job line will include postings of available jobs and will offer members who are seeking jobs the opportunity to post brief online resumes.  Information about participating in the job line is available on this website.More
