The Washington Press Association is an organization of professional communicators. Our membership includes print and online journalists and public relations practitioners as well as students in these fields.

Annual communications contest
All members in good standing of WPA (professionals and students) are eligible to enter our annual communications contest. Work published during 2011 is eligible for the Communications Contest. The dealine for submisssions is deadline is February 24, 2012 .The entry requirements and forms can be found here.

All members in good standing of WPA (professionals and students) are eligible to participate in the members-only online forum. Information about joining the online forum is available on this website. More
Members only Job line
All members in good standing of WPA (professionals and students) are eligible to participate in the members-only job line. The job line will include postings of available jobs and will offer members who are seeking jobs the opportunity to post brief online resumes.
